Full Swing Fairways

Recovered golf balls, graded honestly.

We recover, wash and grade used golf balls, then sell them in live auctions. Tour brands and practice balls, priced by condition, shipped from Clifton Park, New York.

How it works

Every ball we sell has been out of play at least once. Here is what happens between the water hazard and your bag.

01

Recovered

Balls come from divers working course water hazards and from bulk lots. They arrive unwashed and unsorted.

02

Washed

Every ball is cleaned before it is looked at. You cannot grade a ball you cannot see.

03

Culled

Cut, cracked and waterlogged balls are pulled and never sold. A large share of any raw lot does not make it past this step.

04

Graded

Sorted by brand and model, then by condition against the standard trade scale below.

The grading scale

We use the standard used-ball grades. Nothing is ever listed a grade above what it is — a scuffed tour ball sells better honestly described than a mint ball that disappoints.

GradeNameWhat it means
5AMint Looks and plays like new. No visible wear.
4ANear Mint Minor gloss loss and light abrasion. Play marks only.
3AGood Visible scuffs and abrasions. No cart-path damage. Fully playable.
2APractice / Shag Discoloured, marked or X-out. For range, net and backyard use.

Where to buy

Everything sells by live auction. Balls run one lot at a time, you see each one before you bid, and multiple wins ship together.

Shipping & returns

Shipping

Shipping is calculated by weight and destination and paid by the buyer. Golf balls are heavy, so buying more in one order costs less per ball — multiple wins from the same show ship together.

Orders ship from Clifton Park, New York.

Returns

If a lot arrives and it is not what the listing described, tell us and we will make it right. Condition is disclosed in every listing and shown on camera before you bid, so there should be no surprises.

Used balls are sold as described. Normal wear consistent with the stated grade is not a defect.
